A to Z Bookish Survey

AtoZsurvey

Jamie of The Perpetual Page-turner created this amazing Bookish Survey! I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm going to do it anyway :)

Author you've read the most books from:

Richelle Mead with 11 books. I'm actually a little amazed: apparently I don't read much by the same author! Huh.

Best Sequel Ever:

Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. It was just so amazing and dark and FEELS and gah! I loved it.

Currently Reading:

Uh, in between of two books, actually. But my next read will be either Gated by Amy Christine Parker or Crewel by Gennifer Albin.

Drink of choice while reading:

I actually almost never drink while reading, because I'm afraid I'll spill it over my book. But if I had to choose, some ice cold ice tea would be nice!

E-reader or physical book?

Physical books, but I still love my reader to pieces. It's so useful on holidays/reading in the bus/etc.

Fictional character you actually would have dated in high school:

I'm gonna cheat and give you three! Mwhahaa!
1. Tucker from Unearthly. He was so sweet, I just loved him!
2. Trevor from Pivot Point. Another sweet boy. *sigh* he was so cute and loveable!
3. Finn from All Our Yesterdays. He's MINE. MINE.

Glad you gave this book a chance:

Outcast by Adrienne Kress.

Hidden Gem Book:

Pivot Point by Kasie West.

Important moment in your reading life:

Discovering Goodreads! It opened my eyes to English book and the blogging world. My tastes have changed so much since discovering Goodreads, and I never would have started reviewing and blogging without Goodreads. Also, I discovered some AMAZING books I wouldn't have known about otherwise.

Just Finished:

All Our Yesterdays by Christin Terril.

Kind of Books You Won't Read:

Christian fiction (since I'm not religious), Non-Ficition.

Longest Book You've Read:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, 870 pages

Major Book Hangover Because Of:

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (obviously) and Just One Day by Gayle Forman

Number of Bookcases You Own:

Confession time: only one! It's fairly big, but still only one. My parents don't like books all over the house, so I mostly buy e-copies!

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Er... I have read SO many books multiple times! A short selection: all Harry Potter books, Twilight (Yes, I know), all Vampire Academy books, Daughter of Smoke and Bone & Days of Blood and Starlight, Uneartly & Hallowed, Before I Fall, Delirium & Pandemonium, all Hungergames books, Easy. I'll stop here because I don't want to bore y'all :P But I reread lots of books!

Preferred Place To Read:

In bed! I always snuggle up to read for a while before I go to sleep.

Quote That Inspires You/Gives You All The Feels From A Book You've Read:

Uh, I'm not really a quotey person! I'm really, really bad at remembering quotes from books. But I will say that I found Easy and Just One Day inspirational books.

Reading Regret:

Not discovering Goodreads sooner is all I can think of! And yeah, living in the Netherlands because it's nearly impossible to get physical ARCs/author events here. But that's only a bookish regret: life in the Netherlands is pretty good!

Series You Have Started And Need To Finish (all books are out in the series):

Uhm... I actually can't think of any! I have dozens of series I need to finish, but not all books are out. So, uhm.. Yeah. I don't know.

Three Of Your All-Time Favorite Books:

Harry Potter (all of them), Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, and Pivot Point by Kasie West.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

I won't say J. K. Rowling, that's too obvious! But Kasie West really surprised me with Pivot Point, and if The Distance Between Us is just that good, she's going to have a new fan!

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor and Just One Year by Gayle Forman. Gimme!

Worst Bookish Habit:

Reading during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes my books get stained (weird actually, how I won't drink while reading but DO eat. Huh.), and I nearly cry. But I can't stop reading during my meals!

X Marks The Spot: Start At The Top Left Of Your Shelf And Pick The 27th Book:

Teeth by Hannah Moskowitz

Your Latest Book Purchase:

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

ZZZ-snatcher Book: (last book that kept you up WAY late)

Golden by Jessi Kirby!

So, this was my Bookish Survey! I'd love to read yours too, so give me your link in the comments!

    1. Yes - I was like I CAN'T READ ANYTHING NOW EXCEPT JUST ONE YEAR! I'm so jealous of those lucky people who have an ARC of it!

      Thank you, honey <3
