Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker—unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.

Why am I waiting?

This series has always had a special place in my heart. Book one, Cinder, was light and cute and fun, and then book two, Scarlet, was just as much fun but considerably darker. I've heard SO much good about Cress so I really hope it delivers!

Why am I waiting?

Because Scarlet was absolute awesomeness. I might review it sometime, but trust me, hell yeah! Scarlet was a super strong protagonist, and THE ROMANCE. I am Roblet ALL the way! (yes, I really just combined their names into "roblet". Deal with it.)

Being Sloane Jacobs
Meet Sloane Emily Jacobs: a seriously stressed-out figure-skater from Washington, D.C., who choked during junior nationals and isn’t sure she’s ready for a comeback. What she does know is that she’d give anything to escape the mass of misery that is her life.

Now meet Sloane Devon Jacobs, a spunky ice hockey player from Philly who’s been suspended from her team for too many aggressive hip checks. Her punishment? Hockey camp, now, when she’s playing the worst she’s ever played. If she messes up? Her life will be over.

When the two Sloanes meet by chance in Montreal and decide to trade places for the summer, each girl thinks she’s the lucky one: no strangers to judge or laugh at Sloane Emily, no scouts expecting Sloane Devon to be a hero. But it didn’t occur to Sloane E. that while avoiding sequins and axels she might meet a hockey hottie—and Sloane D. never expected to run into a familiar (and very good-looking) face from home. It’s not long before the Sloanes discover that convincing people you’re someone else might be more difficult than being yourself.

Why Am I Waiting?

This sounds extremely cute. That cover already had me just about DYING with cuteness, and that synopsis finished the deal. This sounds exactly like the fluffy read we all need from time to time. Being Sloane Jacobs, be in my hands already.

The Geography of You and Me
Lucy and Owen meet somewhere between the tenth and eleventh floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, they spend a single night together, wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is restored, so is reality. Lucy soon moves to Edinburgh with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father.

Lucy and Owen's relationship plays out across the globe as they stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and -- finally -- a reunion in the city where they first met.

A carefully charted map of a long-distance relationship, Jennifer E. Smith's new novel shows that the center of the world isn't necessarily a place. It can be a person, too.
Publication Date: April 15th by Little, Brown for Young Readers

Why I am waiting:

This sounds über-cute and awesome! That synopsis makes me want this SO BADLY. It sounds amazing and fluffy and feel-good and AHH. To top it off, it gets a cover that makes me die with cuteness. Oh yes, give this to me NOW, please!

Why Am I Waiting?

Both Steph and Kat (Cuddlebuggery) gave this five stars. And if that isn't enough for you, just look at that cover and synopsis!

Although admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of that cover. It's pretty, but her hairstyle throws everything off. She looks like she's bald with that hair style, they should have let it hang loose. And although I have nothing against redheads, I do think her hair color clashes a bit with the dress. But that's just my two cents.

Why am I waiting:

This book looks friggin' fantastic! Bloggers I trust have all given this 5 stars and I basically cannot wait. I need this SOONER! Unfortunately, I wasn't approved to read it on Netgalley... So I'll just wait impatiently until December. Hmmm. Maybe I can ask this for Christmas, but it would mean that I can't read it until 25 December.. Ahhh! Book nerd problems! Anyway, I was saying that I'm really REALLY excited for this one!

On The Fence by Kasie West
For sixteen-year-old Charlotte Reynolds, aka Charlie, being raised by a single dad and three older brothers has its perks. She can out-run, out-score, and outwit every boy she knows--including her long-time neighbor, and honorary fourth brother, Braden.

But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chi-chi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world of makeup, lacy skirts, and bedazzlers. Even stranger, she's spending time with a boy who has never seen her tear it up in a pick-up game.

To cope with the stress of faking her way through this new reality, Charlie seeks late night refuge in her backyard, talking out her problems with Braden by the fence that separates them. But their Fence Chats can't solve Charlie's biggest problem: she's falling for Braden. Hard. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

Publication Date: July 1st 2014

Why am I waiting?

KASIE WEST. Since the brilliant Pivot Point and the cute and amazing The Distance Between Us, she's pretty much my favorite author. I have no doubt that On The Fence will, once again, be brilliant.

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she'll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.

In Shatter Me, Tahereh Mafi created a captivating and original story that combined the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." The sequel, Unravel Me, blew readers away with heart-racing twists and turns, and New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia said it was "dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense." Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and climactic end.

Publication Date: February 4th 2014

Why I am waiting:

Ahh! Mafi's writing style is so unique and lovely and lush. It's really special. And of course I want to know the way the story goes... And if Juliette ends up with Warner ;)

Pawn by Aimee Carter
YOU CAN BE A VII. IF YOU GIVE UP EVERYTHING.

For Kitty Doe, it seems like an easy choice. She can either spend her life as a III in misery, looked down upon by the higher ranks and forced to leave the people she loves, or she can become a VII and join the most powerful family in the country.

If she says yes, Kitty will be Masked—surgically transformed into Lila Hart, the Prime Minister's niece, who died under mysterious circumstances. As a member of the Hart family, she will be famous. She will be adored. And for the first time, she will matter.

There's only one catch. She must also stop the rebellion that Lila secretly fostered, the same one that got her killed …and one Kitty believes in. Faced with threats, conspiracies and a life that's not her own, she must decide which path to choose—and learn how to become more than a pawn in a twisted game she's only beginning to understand.
Publication Date: November 26th 2013

Why I am waiting:

This sounds so good! Early reviews have all been positive and I can't wait to get this in my hands. I wasn't a fan of Carter's The Goddess Test, but this sounds perfect.

Allegiant by Veronica Roth
One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.

But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

Publication Date: October 22nd 2013

Why am I waiting:

I recently read Divergent and Insurgent and although I had a couple of issues with them (primarily the factions) I thought they were really enjoyable. And then Insurgent had a bit of a cliffhanger ending which means that I need to know what happens next. That blurb also tells me just about nothing, so I have no idea where this story is going to go! (You can expect a review of Divergent soon, by the way.)

Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi
Their love and their leadership have been tested. Now it's time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world.

The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.

Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won't even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.

Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.

In this final book in her stunning Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.
Publication Date: January 28th 2014

Why am I waiting:

Truth be told, I haven't read Through the Ever Night yet. That doesn't mean I can't be excited for this, because I loved Under The Never Sky! I need this in my life now, so I can start Through The Ever Night. If it has a killer ending, at least I can dive straight into this!

 My pick:

Just One Year by Gayle Forman
The heartrending conclusion—from Willem’s POV—to the romantic duet of novels that began with Allyson’s story in Just One Day

After spending an amazing day and night together in Paris, Just One Year is Willem’s story, picking up where Just One Day ended. His story of their year of quiet longing and near misses is a perfect counterpoint to Allyson’s own as Willem undergoes a transformative journey, questioning his path, finding love, and ultimately, redefining himself.

 Publication Date: October 10th 2013

Why Am I Waiting?

Just One Day was a masterpiece and I NEED this. The early reviews are all raving and I just need to read this because asjdkl; cliffhanger!

My pick:

Panic by Lauren Oliver
Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a dead-end town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do. Heather never thought she would compete in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She’d never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought. Dodge has never been afraid of Panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game, he’s sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he’s not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for. For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them—and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most.

Publication Date: March 4th 2014
